Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas decorations out while Hope was taking a nap. She was surprised when she woke up. She LOVES lights. She found a few favorite ornaments as I was decorating the tree. She is kissing the puppy ornament she found in one of the pictures. Christmas is going to be fun with her.

Snow Baby

There was no snow, of course, just cold. Hope probably thought she was back in China being bundled up so tightly. I thought she was cute. She couldn't quite figure out the gloves.

Happy Thanksgiving

We did Thanksgiving a little different this year. We went out to eat instead of cooking. The food was good and clean-up was great, just the wait was a little long. Hope did great. We ended up at Crackel Barrel and she was facinated by all the Christmas decorations. She found one that had a mirrored bottom and kept looking at herself sying, "Girl". That is what she calls herself because we say Hope Girl all the time. She would look at other ornaments and say "How pretty". We also say that to her a lot. These pictures are after we came home and Hope was literally working out her meal (if you know what I mean).

Play Date

We had our friends Baylee and Carly over for lunch, movie, popcorn, Reese's Pieces and whatever else we could find. Hope napped through the movie (YAH!), but we had lots of fun. Sometimes we have to wrestle Hope to get her to take a posed picture.

Aunt Margaret and Debbie come to visit

We had lots of fun with Aunt Margaret and Debbie. Hope, of course, was spoiled rotten. I have to say that I got my share of spoiling too!

Fall Festival

We went to a Fall Festival at a local church and had a great time with Jimmy, Tammy, Robby, Shawn, Meredith & Sophie. Free games, free cakes, free hotdogs, free snow cones, free popcorn -- the list goes on and on. What more could we ask for??

Party time!

Celebrating Hope turning 2 was so much fun. We are blessed to have her in our family and thankful she was born. We are grateful to her birthmother that she gave Hope the gift of life and gave us the gift of Hope. We love our precious daughter.
For the party we had pizza, cake and ice cream. The kids decorated hats and their bikes and we had a birthday parade in our cul-de-sac. Lots of presents for Hope Girl and precious friends. We had lots of fun.

Birthday Fun

Hope and her friends went to Monkey Joes on her birthday. They had so much fun (so did the Mommies). After playing we went to a restaurant at the beach to eat. We are blessed to have sweet friends.

1st B-day present came in the mail

Hope knew the package was for her so she sat right down it to protect it. Then she tried to carry it. Finally we opened it and she loved Leap because he sings her favorite song - ABCs. The outfit was too cute. Thanks Aunt Denise and Uncle Randy!!!

Homecoming

We went to Homecoming at our former church in Rockingham and Hope walked like she had always been there. We love our friends there and it was good to see them and for them to see Hope for the first time.

These are sweet friends that help me out with Hope. She was watching Pam blow bubbles and walking around with her blanket on her head with Mrs. Charlotte.
