Travel

We got it!!!! The travel date is set. We leave December 13th and return December 28th. In less than 3 weeks we will be holding Baby Hope. God is so good to us. I (Crystal) prayed Monday that we would get travel approval that day and we did. I prayed today that we would hear our dates today and we did! God hears us, He wants to hear from us. He blesses us. Thank you God.

Travel Approval!!

We heard yesterday for AWAA that we have received our travel approval. It took exactly 2 weeks to receive it. We are now waiting to hear if we can get an appointment with the Consolate when the next group is going from AWAA. This will hopefully mean travel for us in two weeks. Keep praying that everything falls into place.

Hope's Room

We have been hard at work trying to get our house ready for Hope's arrival. We have completed her room except for getting some pictures on the wall. It is a huge change to the room because it was the office before and now it is a fun room for a sweet little girl. We can't wait to hear her laughter coming from it.

Of course the theme is ladybugs and we have scattered them all over the room.

The pictures are of Hope at about 6 months old. She looks like a little football player in this one. It was fun to see her for the first time in the picture above in the Hello Kitty chair!

The Setzer Family

The Journey of Hope began in August 2005 when we started paperwork with America World Adoption Association for a child from China. After two years and paperwork updates we were blessed with the referral of Feng Xiaoxue. We have decided to name her Hope Xiaoxue Setzer. Xiaoxue means "Little Snow" and this was the name given to her be her caretakers.

Hope's birthday is October 30, 2006 and we cannot wait to meet her. We are currently waiting for our Travel Approval and dates to travel. We are thankful that you are on this journey with us because it is truly by God's grace we are given this gift of Hope.
