Hop on Pop

We had been reading the book Hop on Pop and Hope loves it. We had to get more blood work done for her and the nurses that did it gave her a Pop doll. I don't know who was more excited - Scott, Hope or me. So now Hope loves on Pop and she actually does hop on Pop!

I recently learned that my camera will take black & white pictures. Duh! Thanks Shelby for telling me how. Hope likes looking out of her window at the flowers.

Beijing Olympics

We were anxious to see how Hope would respond to the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. As soon as the music began she was excited. I wonder if the music was somewhat familiar to her. She watched closely and sat with Scott to take it all in. As the 2 weeks went on, her favorite part was anything to do with swimming. She would look toward the TV and say, "pool". She liked the swimming, diving and water polo. I guess I have a water baby.

Fun at the birthday party

Hope was invited to our friend, Amelia's 1st birthday party. She had fun because there were animals there, however she thinks the pony was a puppy. She kept saying, "Puppy, Puppy". Puppy, pony - they are close. Hope wasn't too fond of the hat. One thing I realized is that I didn't get a picture of Amelia:(

Mommy's Helper

Hope has discovered the appliances. She helped me unload the dishwasher and then she loaded it again...with herself. She also likes to test the oven to see if it is hot. It is a job to keep her away from it while I cook.

Daddy's Softball Game

Hope likes to go to the softball field for Daddy's games because she can get really dirty. She LOVES playing in the sand.
