Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Life moves very quickly these days. Hope is doing great. She has learned to say "no, no, no" (which sounds like "nuh, nuh, nuh). Evidently she hears that from someone. I wonder who? Hope is 20 months old today and I can't believe it. She is taking on the little girl features and not so much the baby anymore. She is still my baby, though and she knows it. More pictures to come later.

Miss Independent

Hope is trying things for herself. Today she decided that she would try using her fork and spoon. We cheered and encouraged her. She was funny trying to stab the food. She also helped clean up her blocks tonight. She would put a block in the bag and clap. We do lots of clapping at our house!!

Hope got caught climbing on the couch. She likes to get up there but we don't allow her to stand up. She can't quite get the no standing part down.

Bath time!

Baby loves a bath. We have so much fun at bath time. Here is Hope's new hairdo.

Hope has figured out how to get behind the gates we have set up for safety. She was very happy playing in the small space behind the gate.

Softball Girl

Hope loves playing with balls. In her sweet little voice she says, "Ball, ball". Here are a few pictures of her in her softball shirt and hat.

Hope's first pony tail

Hope's hair is getting long enough to put in a pony tail. She was funy because she felt it flop on top of her head. She is too cute.

Happy First Father's Day

It was great for Scott to be able to be honored on Father's Day. Hope and I gave him a globe that he liked and a card that sang "Simply the Best" because he is the best Daddy in the world and he traveled the world to get Hope. We also gave Scott a day at Climb On so he can go indoor rock climbing. He really liked that.

Water Fun

Hope was able to go to the big pool a couple of Saturdays ago. She had lots of fun in the water. She can kick her legs in the float and spin around. I think she will be a swimmer. Scott thinks she looks like an Ewok in her cover-up.
