Family Anniversary Day

December 17th is the day Hope came into our family in 2007, so we will celebrate this day every

year with her. Daddy bought her flowers, which she loved, and we went to lunch together. We are so thankful to have Hope.

We were able to go to Mike's Farm which is a place to eat family style food and go on a hayride. The hayride was through a field that had tons of lights. Hope rode through saying. "wow" and "how pretty". They also had a little store and Hope was facinated with the fudge display. She loves to play with rocks and they had rock fudge. That was her favorite to look at. Bay, Carly and Shelby were along for the fun.

Airlie Gardens

We went to Enchanted Airlie. It was the first time the girls were able to see the lights there. We had a great time. I think Hope's favorite part were the trains. Unfortunately, the batteries in the cameras we took died. We got a few pictures to share.

Promotion Sunday

Hope moved to the two year old class for Sunday School this past Sunday. It is hard to believe she is getting bigger. These pictures are getting ready for church, with her one year teachers, Mrs. Gwen and Mrs. Charlotte and also with her new class with Mrs. Robin and Mrs. Kaye. We have also started wearing the Christmas dresses. This season is so much fun. We love celebrating Jesus' birthday!

Hope went to Sophie's birthday party but she REALLY enjoyed the candy from the goody bag. She liked the candy bracelet for an hour! Sophie came over later that day and wanted to help with Hope's bath. She just became a big sister so she was a helper at our house too.

Giddy up Bubba

Corey came for dinner and ended up being the entertainment. After he left Hope walked around the house saying, "Bubba, Bubba".

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas decorations out while Hope was taking a nap. She was surprised when she woke up. She LOVES lights. She found a few favorite ornaments as I was decorating the tree. She is kissing the puppy ornament she found in one of the pictures. Christmas is going to be fun with her.

Snow Baby

There was no snow, of course, just cold. Hope probably thought she was back in China being bundled up so tightly. I thought she was cute. She couldn't quite figure out the gloves.

Happy Thanksgiving

We did Thanksgiving a little different this year. We went out to eat instead of cooking. The food was good and clean-up was great, just the wait was a little long. Hope did great. We ended up at Crackel Barrel and she was facinated by all the Christmas decorations. She found one that had a mirrored bottom and kept looking at herself sying, "Girl". That is what she calls herself because we say Hope Girl all the time. She would look at other ornaments and say "How pretty". We also say that to her a lot. These pictures are after we came home and Hope was literally working out her meal (if you know what I mean).

Play Date

We had our friends Baylee and Carly over for lunch, movie, popcorn, Reese's Pieces and whatever else we could find. Hope napped through the movie (YAH!), but we had lots of fun. Sometimes we have to wrestle Hope to get her to take a posed picture.

Aunt Margaret and Debbie come to visit

We had lots of fun with Aunt Margaret and Debbie. Hope, of course, was spoiled rotten. I have to say that I got my share of spoiling too!

Fall Festival

We went to a Fall Festival at a local church and had a great time with Jimmy, Tammy, Robby, Shawn, Meredith & Sophie. Free games, free cakes, free hotdogs, free snow cones, free popcorn -- the list goes on and on. What more could we ask for??
